Buscyle 1.1 Upgrade Suggestions

Here are the key ways we upgraded the busycle, aside from maintenance:

1. stronger axle on a freewheel axle - Tom welded supports around a new axle
2. using a single speed bikes freewheel (did not break, but required bigger chain for the mainchain of the station
3. mounting the shifters

Here are some suggestions we recall for modifying the current busycle:

1. Loosen the stationmainchain tensioners to lessen drag (may cause chain jumping)
2. Cover for Busycle - a boat cover could work, or install the grip clips for the tarp
3. A plaque listing out all the recycled componentry is use (see 'What its made of' in sidebar)

Key Maintenance

1. Lube all chains and zirk fittings well (use a small grease gun)
2. keep tires pumped to about 50PSI
3. carry a chain tool and extra chain

1. Commands: Go, Stop, Slack off
2. Anticipate hills, traffic lights, etc
