Amazing: Who would have thought that the busycle could make it 2 miles through city traffic in less than an hour!
The busycle loaded onto the trailer easily with a few riders in Low gear!
Helped by net downward slope, prevailing cooling winds, great riders, greased chains and highly pumped tires, we cruised to City Hall. We used Low gear for the first time in street riding to get up Van Ness to Civic Center Plaza.
We toured several loads of enthusiastic City Hall Movers-and-Shakers around Civic Center plaza.
We then paid a call on the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition office at Market, where the Busycle was again admired on the street.
Next we headed down to the start of Critical Mass at Justin Herman Plaza. Critical Mass swept us along in tumultuous celebration
until they hit the hills, where we bailed out to park in Valet space graciously provided by the Palace Hotel
and make more friends while waiting for the trailer.
